I'm a server owner and we have been having issues with a hacker... We ban the hacker he is gone for about 5 min to a day and then comes back..
Is there a way to keep the hacker out of the server?? Is there a lua code or an addon?
What gamemode and addons are you currently running?
darkrp, a few from coderhire but all of the items paid for is from trusted coders
I've heard of issues with Dark RP before. Do you have sv_allowlua 0? Do you have rcon enabled?
yes we have it set sv_allowlua 0, we didn't have rcon enabled until yesterday and the hacker was still screwing with us a before that.
You should double check for any backdoors. Someone with more experience will hopefully have better advice for you. Is he unbanning himself?
yes he is unbannning himself thats the only way he getting back on the server
So go through the logs and look for when another account connects with the same IP and ban the account. Also have a check for any family shared accounts.
well i can ban the steam id and he will get unbanned but im not sure how to ban using IP. he could be using a proxy also to cover his ip up
Use his IP to identify his alternate account. It is unlikely for him to switch IPs in between accounts.
Open your logs and search for that IP. Any other account connecting with that IP is the alternate account.

Some version of Sammys Servers text screen has a backdoor, remove it for now and see if it keeps happening.
