I still like to fiddle around with the NPCs, but apparently Half-Life: Source is not good with the SteamPipe. Has anybody thought up a solution? I wondered if copying/pasting the content directly would work but I imagine it make the folder a little messy.
Half-Life: Source is not on SteamPipe; it doesn't even have a SteamPipe beta. Your best shot until Valve converts it is to either manually extract the content or put the addon Half-Life: Renaissance on your server.
Well I don't actually have a server. I mostly muck around in the single-player. I was thinking about extracting the content but I don't even know if it would work.
I've actually never tried it with HL:S but manually extracting should work in theory. Again, either manually extract, wait until it's on steampipe, or get an addon.
Yeah; steampipe is in it's infintile stage right now. It'll get better.
