Today I downloaded the gmod update, tried to join a server and this message appears "The server you are trying to connect to is running a newer version of the game" i've tried various methods to try and fix this issue, re-download gmod, restart steam and restart pc but nothing has worked some pls help.
Try switching to "Dev" beta branch, launch the game, and then switch back to NONE.
Should I keep my gmod on dev mode? because when I switch back to none it just gets that message again.

When I turn dev mode on it only works on some server but if I turn it to none then it doesn't work on any servers.
