Verify your CS:S

It looks like a fallback model
And how do I do that?
In your Steam library: right click Counter-Strike: Source and click "Properties". Click the "Local Files" tab and press "Verify integrity of game cache...".
And why would it work if I did that?
It verifies to make sure all of the CS:S files are correct and will mount correctly. Those low quality models are called "fallbacks" and they are in place when the CS:S models aren't mounted correctly.
Right ok.
I did verify my CSS and it didnt do shit. It still looks like shit, guess I have to reinstall.
Have you started up CS:S recently?
Nope.
Start it up! A window should popup saying to convert to a newer more efficient format (aka steampipe).
Well, it didn't. I did convert Half-Life and all the episodes to Steampipe.
Wait a minute, are those even CS:S models or are those CS:GO or Insurgancy?
None of those. They're the Crysis Operators who was made by someone who I can't remember. But I do think that I need to convert all source games to Steampipe.
Those aren't even CS:S models??
That sounds like more of a problem to the model creator, not even related to CS:S. Spawn a CS:S model and take a screenshot of it please.
Well, it looked good before. And then it went to look like shit and then someone told me a console command who fixed that but when the Gmod went to Steampipe so did everything look like shit again. I converted all of my source games to Steampipe, I'll start up Gmod and see if it worked.
And please take a picture of a CS:S model to make sure this is not a problem with SteamPipe, but more of a problem with the custom model.
Converting everything to Steampipe solved alot of things for me. Every model that looked like shit looks real good now and maps work better too. I never use CS:S models so that's not really a problem for me if they look bad.
there isnt much point in asking for help if you are just ignoring everyones advice
if its from the mod creater, its probably his fault, if models DIRECTLY from css look like this, then something is wrong.
I did what he told me and it didn't work and then a friend of mine told me to convert everything to Steampipe and it worked. And no its not the mod creators fault, it was AFTER the update that the model fucked up and then I converted everything to Steampipe and several things worked. Don't really see your problem.

And Code, sorry if I offended ya. I never use CS:S models but I had to convert stuff to Steampipe and CS:S was on those so you did help me out in one sort of way.
Mark as solved please
