Hey all, just got Garry's Mod the other day and I've been playing with it. I find it so hard to pose NPC's because I don't really know how to use the gun correctly. Are they any tutorials anywhere on how to use the pose tool correctly? Not too mention everything else. I'm pretty good at picking things up even when I don't have any instructions, but this is getting frustrating when I spend two hours working on something, only to hit the wrong button and it releases everything I've already posed and locked and the NPC falls to the ground like a bowel of jelly!! Thx for any help/suggestions!

You can't pose NPC's. You spawn a ragdoll of the model you want to pose and try it from there.
Don't get to used to it, Gmod 13 is coming out soon and it will change alot of things.
I would hold off learning anything until the update comes out.

Welcome to Garry's Mod.
Once you're done finicking about in singleplayer, don't forget that Garry's Mod isn't only a building/posing game. There are a vast amount of gamemodes made by players for you to try out if you're into that. Visit your internet tab. :)
