I keep getting this error on gmod. It's only on one of my laptops. I dont get the error on any of my other computers.
Anyone know why I'm getting this? I reinstalled gmod, deleted the folder, and rebooted my machine. Any help is appreciated!
Do you have GMod on another computer? If so, try taking the client.dll and moving it to your laptop. I've had this issue randomly too, but it usually works to just get a working one from another PC.

Nope it didnt work :(
I know this is a shot in the dark but mine wouldnt even go past start up, I then remembered my graphic card needed to be updated.
Copy and paste the whole garry'smod common folder from one PC to the broken one.
I hate to bump this but I'm still having the same issue. So far nothing I've tried has worked.
Go to system32/SysWoW64 and delete awesomium.dll
