• Linux client hangs when clicking the mount game button

I am running Arch Linux 64bit. (kernel 3.14.0-4-ARCH) When I click on the gamepad button in the bottom right corner of the screen the whole UI hangs. The backgrounds are still working, but I can't click on anything. The whole thing is frozen. I get the same problem when I try to start a (host) a multiplayer game. In the start game screen, if I select the dropdown that says singleplayer and change it to 2 payers it hangs in the same way. It seems like only the ui is frozen. I can still close the game with my alt-f4 equivalent. Also, the only other source game I have installed is TF2.
I'm not really an expert on the Linux side of things, does TF2 work fine? What graphics drivers are you using? Have you tried changing the graphics settings, mainly resolution or setting it to windowed?
TF2 works like a charm. As for drivers I am using the nvidia propriatary drivers. I'm running the game in 1920x1080 full screen. I'm pretty damn sure that my graphics settings are fine. I can run the game normally and everything is A-OK.
It is a problem with Awesomium ( Web engine GMod uses ), we can't fix that unless awesomium does.
Does the team behind Awesomium know know about this?
I'm not saying the graphics settings aren't fine, it's just that setting it to windowed or setting a lower resolution might stop the UI from hanging, it might just be a case of running the game in windowed but still at full resolution (until an update/fix comes along), but this might not work either
just contributing to this, I get it too, and I'm running Windows on fullscreen
