Because i can't use search i can't find theme with same question so...
I run garrysmod 12 and its normally starts but at main menu it without any error or message box return to desktop. Other games works normaly and i can run garrysmod 13 normaly.
Have you made sure that you have the latest update for Garry's mod? It fixed a lot of issues caused by a TF2 update.
reinstalled few times deleted gcf and deleted all files from steamapps/username/garrysmod
