• Is GMOD 12 broken for linux servers?

I've tried disabling any addons, and switching my gamemode to sandbox, but the server doesn't respond and I can't run anything through my terminal. is anybody else dealing with this?
I have tried to make a DarkRp server on an Ubuntu server and it failed miserably. There is no way to tell Linux SRCDS the default gamemode. I was very frustrated. I know linux is better, but for a gameserver, run Microsoft server. I am in the process of transitioning, I feel your pain.

My server get's stuck while booting since the last update. @Samg381: That just means that you failed at setting it up.
