Whenever I try and play Gmod it will crash without any warning and it will freeze steam for about a minute. I can join single player but if i try and join multiplayer it just crashes after everything is done downloading. But it has also crashed before in the main menu and once before in singleplayer it has left .mdmp files but I don't know what to do. Please help.

You need to upgrade from Windows XP, not just to fix this but you're also at risk of a wide range of security issues as Windows XP has now lost support
