Garry's Mod Won't Startup: HL2 Error

Hi,
Since the recent update of Garry's Mod 13 to SteamPipe, I have been unable to open Garry's Mod at all. When I launch it, the loading menu comes up, but it then crashes and only gives me this error:

Yup, and tried the defrag. Nothing working so far.

You shouldn't even be able to defrag if you have SteamPipe.

I would try backing up the garrysmod/garrysmod folder and reinstalling.

Is your Garry's Mod folder in your /steamapps/(username) folder or in /steamapps/common ?

All Source Games, now that I try it.

Sorry to say it but you might have to do a complete steam reinstall. Otherwise, it's a hardware problem.
