HELP MY SERVER WONT DOWNLOAD ADDONS, THEY KEEP ON FAILING!

this is what happens, i have a collection of 36 addons, and everytime it fails most of them at around 40%!
any suggestions? and how do i make it so it can download addons bigger than 64m? even ones that arent 64m are failing!

Download the .gma files on your local computer. You'll find them in your garrysmod/addons/ folder. Once you found them (They will have names like "name_of_your_addon.gma"), use GMad extractor to extract the files and create an "addon" folder for them. Download those files to your server as legacy addons, and you should be fine.

some of the addons are quite big, the whole content pack is like 300mb and my upload speed is like 40kb/s! any other ideas

You have to download an addon to use it, so no.

ok im just wondering could it be the anti-ddos protection on the server? that is stopping me from downloading the files?

No. Servers simply can't download addons bigger than 64mb because it doesn't support it. No idea why and how, but it simply doesn't. Unless there's a Garry's Mod update changing this (or does it require an update by Valve?) limit, you won't be of any luck. You HAVE to download the things and do what I described in my previous post, otherwise it's impossible.

YES BUT SOME OF THE FILES ARE NOT OVER 64M AND THEY ARE GETTING FAILED :S
