This is a problem that has occurred very recently and I'm not sure what triggered it. When I click on a new list (such as Useful Comic Props or General Construction) the game freezes for about 8 seconds, then they all appear. Then if I scroll down it takes about another 8 seconds for the rest to load. Also when I select a ragdoll with the faceposer tool, the game freezes for about 10 - 20 seconds before the circle appears around their head.
This is really annoying me and I can't figure out the problem. I've tried deleting some addons, verifying my cache, defragmenting my game files and even defragmenting my whole hard drive. Any help is appreciated.

Well that's good to know, Thank you. But does this also cause the faceposer issue I'm having?
That's what also caused the insane lag with the faceposer tool. This should be fixed by now with the latest update.

Not meaning to bump an old tread, (I know that's an issue here and I don't really mean for it, I'm sorry), But It's October and I've been having this problem since ALLLLLL.... the way back in June or July with no fixes for it. Not to mention I have not found much help with forums as such. What's going on?
Garry's not going to patch G12 anymore afaik. He's working on G13. The only reason he would patch Gmod12 is for crashing issues and other game [i]ruining[/i] things. Not for a slight lag when opening the spawn menu.
