I just had this problem [U]today[/U] when i open [U]Garry's Mod[/U] my pc mysteriously turns off and wont open again unless i change the [U]Plug's[/U].However i can play the other games without no problems like Counter Strike GO or DotA 2 or L4D2 can you guys help me with this ?
There's no possible way Garry's Mod should be able to turn off your PC, I would check for viruses and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, also what version of Windows are you using?
i am using windows 7 ultimate and my graphic drivers are up to date now i will try to check for the viruses but i dont have a virus program for it. can you help me with this too which virus program do you prefer ? and thank you for replying me :)
its showing a blu screen then its booting?
download this [url]https://www.malwarebytes.org[/url] and do a virus scan
just find a cdkey and make it pro
what anti virus do you using?
and turn off the windows firewall (just to solve some networking problems)

Just get Avast, it's free and good.
No i dont get a blu screen it just turns off instantly and wont turn on again untill i change the plugs.Now i am downloading Avast. if there was no virus i will try to delete and re download the Garry's Mod

not free just dont use the free one
use pro if you want but you have to crack it if you dont want to pay the crack will will cause problems i used few month before but then the avast firewall is going crazy i mean its started to block all the internet connection randomly use iobit malware fighter
use the anti virus for real time protection and use malwarebytes to scan the viruses
malwarebytes its the best software that detecting viruses

But this problem keeps happening this wasnt about viruses too i delete all of the threads maybe its about my pc but it only happens when i open garry's mod...
Check your PC, it might be overheating or something.
