I have been searching for an hour now, in gmod itself and solutions on the net and I haven't found a way to make my addons from gmod 12 working... Can someone please help me properly?

Rename info.txt in the addon's folder to addon.txt.

Might be a bug then. I had trouble with it too.
It won't show
Go to games/all in Q menu and search for needed folder
Like Lilwasa or bloocobalt or Humans and so on.

It's also VERY annoying to go through... if that is really the only option right now, I hope it will be fixed soon.

I got the same problem... I tried re-naming and adding after this update to Gmod 13 but still nothing. I really hope it'll be fixed soon as well.

I think Garry got rid of the old file browsing system. The only thing we have to wait for is the Legacy Addon Browser to be aired on Workshop.

As far as I understand it now, you have to download the zip from somewhere, extract them into some folder, upload this folder into the workshop, only to download it into gmod.
What was so wrong at simply downloading an addon and finding it in ordered folders you could even modify at your will?
