I've tried installing a blood_impact particle effect I used for the last version of Gmod, but it doesn't work and still uses the original. Anyone have an idea as to why this is?
Where are you installing the particles in? If you're looking to replace the blood particle, you need to install it directly into /garrysmod/particles folder instead of an addon format.
That is where I installed it. I'm getting some errors for some of the particles in the file, but nothing for the default blood particle for human blood. I'm also getting errors for particles that came with Silverlan's NPC packs, but I'm not sure if others are having that issue too.
