Hi everyone, I had trouble making the Gmod run on my desktop a few days ago, but I decided to download it on my laptop instead, it works like a charm.
I then deleted EVERYTHING that had to do with Gmod on my desktop to copy a backup of Gmod (Done with steam) from my Laptop. But I still have one issue, the fucking Gmod doesn't START, it does not get past the loading screen, please tell me what my laptop has that my desktop hasn't.
Well I would tell you what your desktop has that your laptop hasn't, but my mind-reading abilities are really struggling right now, so could you give me the specs/OS of your laptop and desktop?
Also some general things to try:
Verify game cache
Make sure graphics drivers are up to date

Yeah you're right, my desktop config is : Intel i5 2500K; 2 GTX 580; 8 GB DDR3 RAM; Motherboard is Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3 and I have a SSD and a HDD, I'm on Windows 7 64bit

With GTX670M and i5 processor. Windows 7 64bits
I verified the game cache, made sure my nvidia drivers were up to date and ran the directx websetup with no problems.
