Windows 10 Black Screen Crash

For some reason when I am playing normally Garry's Mod randomly crashes, but this is not the reason I'm posting. For some reason NO MATTER what I did after it crashed the screen would just go black, audio would play as normal but I could not get out of the black screen. Even pressing the physical power button on the front of my PC wouldn't work, I had to turn it off at the wall. And even worse, this is not uncommon, it happens on every map I tested and NOT after the same amount of time had passed. Gmod worked fine before upgrading to windows 10. These are my system specs:
-AMD A10 5800K 3.6GHz APU
-Asus F2A85-M LE Motherboard
-Nvidia GTX 650 1GB
-Windows 10 Home Premium 64-bit
