Installed Steam, Half Life 2 and Garry's Mod, not 9 the one above it.

Like the title says, that's where I am. How do install models and model materials? I created the Sedona founder with fuck all in it and dumped all model materials into Garry's mod/Garry's mod/materials/models and dumped all models into Garry's mod/Garry's mod/models.

On the game, I just see empty tabs but if I hover my cursor around there are tabs jut with no picture, name or an actual model.

Can anyone direct me to rectify my mistake?

Edit: not Sedona founder, I mean't Addons folder. That was spell check.

Yeah, not weapons but model packs. Ragdolls.
