• Anyway to remove the glow around objects????

 So there is no option to hide the physgun beam other then entering into the console, physgun_drawbeams 0 or 1, in case you're wondering, convenient like many new changes, but I can't find any code to remove the glow around objects when you have the physgun beam holding them. Anybody know it?

Uh, yeh, that doesn't work. I get no such option. The physugn just moves around weirdly and nothing pops up. I changed my display size and there's nothing. Add that glitch to the list. So... yeah. C works for tools though. Some of them anyway. :suicide:
So...yeah, free cursor should be showing you two options at the top of the screen, Drawing and Npcs. Click on drawing and you'll see your options, as etrius said. It won't be a popup it just shows you menu options at the top of your screen. Q menu (default) will also show you these options, again at the top of your screen, not as a popup.
Yeah I know. Nothing happens. Except that GMOD crashed and took my computer with it. when I had the physgun beam selected and pressed C. I give up. I've spent days fighting this update and it wins. I surrender.
It doesn't have to be your physgun, it can be any weapon selected when you press C to go to the free cursor mode. Gmod crashing your computer sounds like a separate issue though. Also, did you try the Q menu? The menu you use to spawn props? (Not trying to assume you don't know what the Q menu is, I'm just covering all the bases.)
Yes, yes I did. I'm giving up for a while. Seriously. It's been a non stop struggle. I need a break. Maybe I'll reinstall it or something.
Probably your best bet. Though if you haven't reinstalled by the time you read this again, you might try verifying the integrity of the game cache before then. Might save you some time and fix your problem. The last time there was a big update (or one of the times anyway), I had to do that to fix my own crashing problems. Maybe double check that your video drivers are up to date if/when/before that fails.
I reinstalled, and it works now. Still though... :suicide:
