You should report this to valve, not here, we can't do anything about it. Most likely he will get banned soon

Your typical speedhacker is usually some kid using cheat engine, they'll get banned, don't worry.

Garry could add his steam id do the banned.cfg but he won't do anything because you dont have any evidence and he's too caught up on rust
I don't really know why I was rated dumb, as far as I know you can't speedhack using Lua, so this "speedhacker" is using an external program, which will be detected by VAC, the V standing for Valve, and ban him

(CheatEngine)
Which is using an external program, called Cheat Engine
Which is using an external program, called Cheat Engine
The issue is that VAC works as a blacklist for modules, Cheat Engine isn't detected by VAC, however, GAC is capable of detecting cheat engine. GAC seems to have a convar trap for sv_cheats and sv_allowcslua: ^This was generated with IDA, it's not the actual code, this is from client.dll^ The issue here is that it only looks for sv_cheats and sv_allowcslua while you could probably just edit host_framerate with cheat engine and remain undetected. The best way to go about dealing with hackers would probably be to take matters into your own hands and make your own AC.
Which is why Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) will detect it.
I've seen many cheat enginer's getting banned by VAC.
Not in Garry's Mod, VAC runs differently in Garry's Mod compared to other source games. People getting banned from Garry's Mod for using Cheat Engine are banned by GAC, which is Garry's AC.
