Why is the FPS on this game so crap? I get a typical maximum of 60 whereas on TF2, HL2, etc I can reach 300. This has been going on since the release of Gmod 13. I'm not the only one getting the issue but I'd like to know if anyone knows a fix to this problem.
make sure your vsync is off in the options menu, under video- advanced. vsync limits your fps to about 60
I have to exact same problem. Maps that I used to play on Gmod 12 are unplayable with around 20-30 fps.
