This used to be such a simple process back in the day. I would forward the port 27015 for UDP and TCP, click create a server, and it would work.
Now I'm supposed to be typing in "heartbeat" and other nonsense that doesn't seem to be working. I just want a simple listen server for me and my friends. No dedicated servers, no additional download scripts or programs such as Hamachi, just simply making it from the in game features. If anyone could help me with this issue, I'd be most grateful.

And yes, I have my ip settings configured properly and with the proper ports.
What game are you trying to use this for?
