Cannot set gamemode on dedicated server.

I hope that this is the right section.
Whatever I do I cannot change the gamemode on my server.
I added DarkRP to my gamemodes folder, and used the start up parameter +gamemode DarkRP. When I connected to my server it was in sandbox mode.

I tried adding sv_defaultgamemode DarkRP to my autoexec.cfg and my server.cfg, but to no avail.

Anyone know if there is a solution to my problem?
If you need any extra information I'll be happy to provide it.

I fixed it anyway. Apparently it was "darkrp" (without caps) instead of "DarkRP".
