Unable to get SteamPipe GMod Server working (SRCDS.exe does not launch)

As the title insists, after a frustrating night of attempting to get the new SteamPipe Garry's Mod server working I am still finding it impossible. My method: I use SteamCMD, login anonymous. force_install_dir C:\servers\gmod app_update 4020 validate After this, I tried launching it from \gmod\srcds.exe and, it does not open whatsoever. If I try opening it in cmd, it just shows nothing and goes to another line. I tried installing css ontop of this as I thought it may require a backbone src engine, but still to no avail. Using srcds guardian thing just makes it say "Server crashed, restarting.." in an INFINITE loop. I am so stuck. Please help? Thanks! I'm assuming this started after you installed the CS:S content. Really simple fix, worked for me. 1.) Open your steamcmd and login anonymous 2.) force_install_dir [Where you have your crap saved] 3.) app_update 4020 validate 4.) Wait... I dont quite understand your question... you are having problems with your launcher to your server right?? If thats the case, have you then tried to make a shortcut in your /gmod/srcds so you have a shortcut of the SRCDS you launch you server with?. And then right click on it and type in the destination c:\"your-gmod-folder"\Orangebox\srcds.exe\-console -game garrysmod +map "your_map" -maxplayers " insert number here" If thats not your problem then plz explain it again to me :p Good luck

Read his post, he already explained it's a problem with ServerGuardian. He can install and start up the server just fine...
