Huge lag when i turn. - Help

idk why but everytime i lag i seem to get a huge lag. Ive tried not turning and walking forward which is fine but this is really stupid how i cant turn without my game freezing every second. [editline]25th June 2013[/editline] fixed just go to your windows uninstall page right click it and repair steam.

It seems its for all of my steam games too. ive tested css and gmod both have the same problem.

What addons are you using?

Turn off "multicore rendering" in options. I fixed same bug in L4D2 :P

Multicore rendering isn't even implemented in Garry's mod; as in if you enable it, it changes nothing. If that works though I'll be really surprised.

Try disabling motion blur.

If it's happening in all steam games, then we shouldn't be debugging Gmod specific things. What have you installed or done differently when it started happening? New anti virus? New mouse? Are any programs besides steam games lagging or seeming different then they did before?

seems i got it working all i did was put steam to be compatible with windows 7 i will still see if this is a permanent fix.
