SRCDS Linux server lags at certain amount of players

For quite some time nowI've been receiving lag on a 42 slot server I have. My hardware isn't the issue, nor is my network. I've confirmed it with my server provider seeing as I only use less than 1MB even at full capacity and my CPU never struggles at a very low percentages, along with that my uplink is 1000Mbps. It's been scaled down to what I assume an SRCDS issue.

It only happens around 20 something players, I believe when it reaches 24. Other than that, its perfectly fine. Is there some sort of setting I should have set in the server.cfg or anything that could possibly help get rid of this lag? It's unknown and not something people enjoy. Thanks in advance.

edit: make sure you click srcds and not hlds
