someone tell me a way to disable npcs on my sandbox server. people are spamming and just making the server crash. help!!!!!!!
Run "Sbox_maxnpcs 0"
That'll set the maximum number of spawnable npcs to 0.

Where have you tried running that command?
And are you sure you've been designated as an admin?
If it's a listen server, you should be one automatically, but if it isn't, you'll need to make yourself one in the server files. Otherwise you'd just be joining as a client.
Edit:
Also, if the server keeps restarting, it'll always default to the setting within the server.cfg, so it'll keep resetting the max npcs to 4 or something like that, unless you also change that number to 0.
