When ever I try to start up Garry's mod it loads a loading screen but then crashes and another window pops up with the half life 2 logo and says:
"Engine Error
failed to read 3840543 bytes"
with just on "Ok" button. This is a fresh install and I have re installed it twice but to no prevail. If anyone knows a fix please tell me

verify your game cache?
I managed to fix my own problems by remotely removing the mounted games by removing them from the mounts.cfg file in the Garry's mod steam data
