I have successfully port forwarded on Netgear routers before, but ZyXEL (model NBG-416N) just won't cooperate.
What I've done:
- Turned off Windows firewall
- Turned off router's firewall
- No anti-virus software
- Went into router's NAT settings and forwarded port 27015-27015 (when that didn't work I forwarded ports 27000-27050 and some other ports that were suggested online)
local ip:

router port forward settings:

But it doesn't show up in the online server list. Anybody have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?
First of all, its not very smart showing all of this.
Secondly, try 27005 instead of 27050

But it only shows my local IP adresses and settings, and doesn't show any sensitive information.
and wouldn't 27000-27050 also include 27005?
Edit: Managed to get it to work, not sure why it didn't the first time
Check what port you host the server in. And use that instead. Usually 27015 or 27005
