• GMod crashing at "Sending Client Info"
    3 replies, posted
So I was trying to join a MethRP server, Defcon Nations to be exact, and I ran into a problem. It crashed at sending client info, and until I added -vgui_allowhtml=0 to my launch options, it gave me the error "Lua Panic! Not enough memory." Despite me deleting my addons folder and cleaning up my subscribed addons, it still crashes, but I no longer get that error message after adding -vgui_allowhtml=0 to my launch options. The error message doesn't really make sense to me, as I have 16 gigabytes of memory. If anyone could help me, thank you in advance.
You first problem was joining DefconNations. I've tried to join Sideways drugrp and the error still occurs. Thanks for a reply though I've had this issue for a very long time with little to no answers
Try using menu_cleangmas in the main menu of GMOD then follow the steps in this video : Don't forget to go to your own steam profile page and click on workshop --> subscribed items. Unsubscribe from all of them to make sure that none are causing your crashing issue. Rejoin the server and see if it happens.
