So I was trying to join a MethRP server, Defcon Nations to be exact, and I ran into a problem. It crashed at sending client info, and until I added -vgui_allowhtml=0 to my launch options, it gave me the error "Lua Panic! Not enough memory." Despite me deleting my addons folder and cleaning up my subscribed addons, it still crashes, but I no longer get that error message after adding -vgui_allowhtml=0 to my launch options. The error message doesn't really make sense to me, as I have 16 gigabytes of memory. If anyone could help me, thank you in advance.

No, but seriously; The garry's mod devs are already looking into this issue, they've been using my server to try to find out the source of the problem and they're pretty sure they've found it.

Lol yeah it was just what my friends were playing on. I've tried to join Sideways drugrp and the error still occurs. Thanks for a reply though I've had this issue for a very long time with little to no answers
Try using [B]menu_cleangmas[/B] in the main menu of GMOD then follow the steps in this video :

Don't forget to go to your own steam profile page and click on workshop --> subscribed items.
Unsubscribe from all of them to make sure that none are causing your crashing issue.
Rejoin the server and see if it happens.
