Duplicator tool not working with workshop duplications!

I was fucking around in the game and decided "hey I want to blow something up", so I went to the "duplication" tab in Q menu and clicked on "spawn", but it didn't want to do anything. I reloaded the map, still, restarted the game, still.
How can I fix this or is this some workshop issue?
