• Lost my garrysmod folder

So umm, thinking that deleting the garrysmod folder in the Steam\Steamapps\username\ would give me a factory setting garrysmod folder upon playing the game again would work, it unfortunately did not. Now I'm stuck without the garrysmod folder. I tried verifying the integrity (Not sure what that does) and it didn't work. If I need to reinstall the game, say so, and I'll reply with results after I launch it after installation. Off-topic: How to install legacy addons? (Addons from the past) Do you still need the Legacy Addons from the Workshop? If not, then please tell me how, since my Legacy addons ain't working. Thanks! :)
It has moved to steam/steamapps/common
What code_gs said is correct, the folder has moved. If the game isn't launching then try a re-install. My folder didn't move until I fully uninstalled and re-installed gmod.
Do you still need the Legacy Addons from the Workshop? If not, then please tell me how, since my Legacy addons ain't working.
If you mean this one, that 'Legacy Addons' addon just makes the models show up their own categories under your spawn list, it doesn't affect whether the addons actually load and/or work, so no it isn't required. Just put any addons into your addons folder, same as always, but make sure you are doing it in the new folder. (steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons)
The game is still launching fine. Since the garrysmod folder is in the common now, is that where I place my stuff or do I need to copy it to steamapps?
Place it all in the common folder. Username is no longer used; you can delete it.
