Missing map <etc>, disconnecting

for some reason i can't force dl any maps on any server and i'm not sure what the problem is

i have done the following:

- uninstall every workshop addon and reinstalled garrysmod
- disabled anti virus/firewall and any other programs i have running that have anything to do with networking
- checked to make sure my 'allow all custom files' is enabled under multiplayer options
- viewed integrity of game cache
- checked my config.cfg has the following lines added

still not working even after the fresh reinstall pls help

i can still manually download maps or subscribe to them via workshop but i'd rather not have to do that and just connect to servers

i'm also aware that not every server has fastdl setup but this happens on literally every server

This is usually, in most of the cases, is a fault of the server.

i've had other people delete their versions of that map and connect to the same server as me and they don't have the issue and can download it fine

i should've mentioned that the config.cfg reset itself on launch so it removed both the sv_downloadurl and the download_debug lines that i added myself, but even then having them removed doesn't make any difference

net_maxfilesize 45 also doesn't seem to do anything either unfortunately

Make sure you have this in your server.cfg since you seem to be using ServerDL

sorry for the double post but it seemed to only fix for a few servers temporarily and now its back to not working, sv_allowdownload 1 is still in my server.cfg

There you have it, as I said in the very first post, a server problem. Their fastDL server is missing the map.

but as i said i've had other people delete their map and connect to the same server and it works absolutely fine

you can also directly download the .bsp by clicking on the above link so its not like they aren't hosting it

Well something on your side presumably makes it fail to download the file. Post IP so I can test it too.
