Hello,
So basically when ever I play on Garry's Mod, usually on a big map like v33x, my display driver crashes which then leads me to have to force close the game and my screen goes black. And it only seems to happen on this game, every other game I can run perfect. I have updated my drivers but it still does it. Does anyone have any suggestions? My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT

Keep an eye on the card temperatures. I had a problem where my fan would randomly stop, and I didn't notice. Usually resulted in the card restarting (protection).
Do you know any application that would let me see temperature and how to fix the fan?

I personally use [URL="http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php"]SpeedFan.[/URL] You can also use it to control fan speeds.
