Bought new PC - GMod times me out of multiplayer every 5 minutes.

Hi.

I've bought a new PC, works great. I just have this issue with being timed out every 5 minutes. I can still hear what people are saying and I can still browse the internet just fine outside GMod, but I can't move in-game at all. No red disconnect message or timer in the right hand corner of the screen. The net_graph goes dead quiet as well. I can reconnect with no issue when this happens, but it'll just time out after 5 minutes again.

Anyone know what could cause this? Tried googling it but nothing came up.
