So for my basewars 2 server, when you join you download all the materials and etc but when you get in game all the materials that are "there" aren't.
You should store all your files in a GMA and upload it to the steam workshop.
Then you can just link it up with the dl to your server and players can download one GMA when
they join and have all the files.
No they download the files, but in game all the drug pictures and etc is not working, its purple and black checkers.
Are you sure they are downloading the textures? If not then there's something corrupted server-side.

Yes because when you join it downloads from the folder containing the materials.
If it's "downloading" the files but it's moving faster than normal you may want to make sure that your files are actually on the server. Also are you downloading them everytime you join the server?
Yes it downloads them everytime.
Then files are not uploaded to the server.
