Addons I've installed via the addons folder, as opposed to Workshop, don't load in game. I've been assuming that I just put them into garrysmod/garrysmod/addons, or is that wrong? Workshop items work fine, it's just those in the addons folder that won't load.
(username)/garrysmod or common/garrysmod?
They're in *username*/garrysmod/garrysmod. If it helps, the addons in question are ACF, Precision Alignment and Advanced Duplicator 2. Not sure if that'll make a difference though.
It's supposed to be in common/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons. The username/garrysmod folder is outdated and can be deleted.

I just hit 1k hours of gmod played and i know barely any code, problem solving or anything but anyway i have this problem when i download addon out of game. Sometimes... and addons are out of order, all i could say is just restart gmod or the computer.
