• Problem with Workshop always reinstalling a corrupted file

Hi guys, I subscribed to an addon that I know is normally working (Sprops, download size around 30MB). The problem is that I have really bad internet which disconnects like every 5 minutes (Wifi...), and that addon was being downloaded when my internet stopped working, result is a corrupted addon that is obviously not working. So I tried: Click on Uninstall in Gmod's Addons in-game menu Unsubscribe Subscribe again This didn't work. So I tried: Click on Uninstall in Gmod's Addons in-game menu Unsubscribe Delete .gma from garrysmod/addons folder (size was around 8 MB) Subscribe again It didn't work, when I subscribed, it just "downloaded" the addon in like one second, I knew something was wrong, I looked in the addons folder, it was still the corrupted file being reinstalled. So it must be stored somewhere but I have no idea where or how to find it. What must be done in order to uninstall an Workshop addon and reinstall it properly? I shouldn't have to search for like an hour, and then ask on a forum, how to do this. I know it's not garry's fault, I blame Steam for not doing enough error checking... Edit: Here is how I solved it: - Go in \Steam\userdata\<a big number here>\ugc - Normally there is 3 folders in it: delete everything in them - Make sure that you have Unsubscribed to the addon and deleted the .gma file in garrysmod/addons folder - (Re)start Gmod, subscribe, and it should download normally If that can help...
