Will installing source games in a different hard drive become unmountable?

Hello everyone! I recently found out how to install steam games on different hard drives to save space, but I'm wondering, if installing a source game onto the other hard drive make it unmountable towards GMod? Because it's in a different location?

It will, but you can manually mount it using the mount.cfg. You just won't be able to use the mount menu.
