I tried SVN. Even the update tool. nothing work for me .. :'( I am also on the normal version of gmod (I switch from time to time to test but nothing...). I verified garry mod cache and all my other source game (CSS, Ep2). I am downloading TF2 but I dont think it's the problem since when it's downloading, it goes in another steamapp folder. Any of you can help me or even the dev ? I saw that there was this problem for a ballrace thing before, but I have it for all ! It load custom sound like achievement thing, etc ... but not music ! >:( also error 44 on the bass plugin If you dont understand ballrace term and thing like that, it's for GMTower but this issue can happen for every addon ..

As for a bass addon, there's always this: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1159184
Yes, I have a thread there. But as far as the Mp3 go, I seem it is good to be here. Also, thanks for the gm_bass_edit link, i'll try to work something out. *edit installed manually gm_bass_edit via svn and I dont that error anymore. I still dont hear anything radio or mp3 said above... but at least it wont say error 44 ...
Are you sure the .mp3 is in the exact correct directory? If it is, you shouldn't be getting that error.
Are you sure the .mp3 is in the exact correct directory? If it is, you shouldn't be getting that error.
I dont have any sound directory and everybody with the workshop have no problem.
