When I push my Push to talk bind I freeze.

For a long time now whenever I pressed my Push to talk bind my game would freeze for a small amount of time.
It used to freeze for about half a second but now it freezes for 2 or 3 seconds and it's become game breaking.
I have tried repairing the game multiple times and have uninstalled and reinstalled.
My computer is a good build and well optimized, could anyone help me please?
