• Local GMAs not showing any info in the Addons menu

Using gmad, I decided to pack some old legacy model packs to GMAs so I could disable and enable them as needed. (I'm not planning to upload them, just for myself.) But when I did and put them into garrysmod/addons/gma, I ran into a bit of a problem: a) Is this supposed to happen? b) If not, what exactly did I do wrong in packing it? c) If so, any other suggestions on how to tell them apart?
-snip- Oh, you made your own .gma's
I can't re-download them as I packed them myself from old gmod12 addons. I tried repacking them with gmad but that didnt work either.
Why do you need to pack them? Just run them as legacy addons.
I mentioned in the original post, to disable and enable when i need to. (Also I hate dealing with hundreds of files.)
.gma's don't work like that. You can't just pack them and run them locally. If you want to enable or disable them, you can either drag them in or out of the addons folder, or if you know lua, create a convar to toggle them on or off.
Okay thank you. (At least I don't have to deal with the hundreds of files now anyways.)
