Any method to check alyx in a vehicle

I need help with something really weird thing.
There is any method to check an npc in a vehicle like npc_alyx when enter the jalopy. Can I check this by LUA?

Pretty sure npc_alyx's parent is the vehicle if she is in the vehicle.
