Whenever I join a server with foreign letters in my name I am automatically renamed to "unnamed." Is this intentional with the new update? It seems very unfair not even to allow players from other countries to have their own names when they play GMod.
I feel like it may be unintentional because it inherently disallows russian usernames and a majority of community tags, and nothing was mentioned in the changelog about dropping support for special characters. I'm not entirely sure on that, though.
We'll just have to wait for an answer.
