So starting, either today or yesterday people from a DarkRP server I moderate have been getting disconnected with the reason [GAC]. Its happened to me, aswell. We have all been able to join again after 1 time of being GAC disconnected, though. I looked it up and its Garry's Anti Cheat ( as probably most of you know. ) I'm wondering why it keeps doing this.
There is either someone hacking in the server or there is a dumbass who has cracked garry's mod

Its more likely cracked garry's mod due to that bug he made on puropse cause idiots would look up the error and they would give away there steam account id and he'd contact steam and steam would ban them. i read about it. he posted it himself if you were wondering. If the problem persists contact (Email) facepunch studios. They will release the bug again
There was an update, so things breaking slightly isn't too surprising, if annoying. There are people who're experts who'll probably be able to give you a more thorough and helpful answer other than "the update might've caused that", so hold on to this thread.

That was the "Unable to shade polygon normals" 'bug'. And it would shut down Gmod entirely, not kick you for GAC. I'm pretty sure piracy is irrelevant and unrelated here, or at least for the reasons you think.
GAC never kicked people; must be some lua script doing it.

There is two of them. And GAC is what shutdown when "unable to shade polygon normals". has detected it. it kicks everyone then shutsdown the person that has the cracked version
I asked the server co owner and he said its because GAC is blocked.
They could be lieing to you bro. And or like he said its probably a broken lua script. But im sticking with my reason. Cause what other fucking reason could it be other than broken lua script or piracy

Depending on how you configure the server. it might be on already. And can anyone help me with mah problem. my eyes are gonna burst from how long i have been staring at the screen

GAC had absolutely nothing to do with it, either. All Garry had to do was have the Gmod client check to see if your Steam ID legitimately purchased Gmod, and if not, unable to shade polygon normals (your64bitSteamID).
It's not piracy causing the issue, or if it is, you stumbled upon that by chance after getting every single part of your piracy argument wrong.
And, yeah, why did that server disable GAC?
