So here what you need to do to fix that problem,
•Go to the "Library" menu in Steam.
•Go to any Source game's Launch Options. ([B]Right Click on the game > Properties > Set Launch Options[/B])
•Copy and paste this in the Command Line: [B]-force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x1180[/B]

That's only if you have multiple graphics cards, particularly integrated. Otherwise, use -dxlevel 95 to force the software level.

Well, -dxlevel 95 didn't work, the -force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x1180 worked fine for me.
