I have root/cstrike and in root/garrysmod/cfg/mount.cfg I have

This worked until the update - did counterstrike also have an update, requiring me to update that too and that's why the mount broke?
Have you tried putting it somewhere else besides the root directory? Not sure why the update would break that.
