• GMOD Lighting Error

Hello fellow forum-goers and whoever may happen to stumble upon this message. There is 1 error relating to dynamic lighting. The first thing that may come in handy for this message is the fact I'm using a Windows 8 Acer Laptop with an Intel Graphics card, and have the newest version of Garry's Mod with ALL addons disabled as of July 10, 2014. Now that's all cleared up let's get down to the main issue I'm having. The Main Issue: The dynamic shadows aren't appearing Alright so just to make some things clear, I have followed both of these links see here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zfwxKHGO4I and the description here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrGnuRhobrE. ) Anyways, the lighting ends up the same as before, just a dull default shadow. I've never actually managed to get anything close to what was shown on the videos. Long story short, I've pretty much tried everything to get it to work. Other helpful tidbits -The shadow detail cannot go any higher than medium Any other pieces of info related to my errors will become available upon request. Thank you for taking your time to read the whole post including this useless little bit thanking you to have read it.
Can you post a picture of the event?
Sorry it took so long but here, there's a link I've posted displaying the settings, the lighting before and after the settings were tweaked respectively. http://imgur.com/a/OFXVt

I tried this. The problem isn't that it can't cast shadows, but that it can't cast dynamic shadows. The shadow never changes it's angle with the position of the light source no matter the settings. The shadow's always stuck below the model, as if the light source is up even if it isn't. If you need an example I'd be happy to post a picture.
That would help
