Hi guys, about a month ago I bought a vps which I am currently hosting my ttt server on, I want to expand my community by making a few servers. The OS running on the vps is currently Windows 2012 R2, and I hope to keep it that way because I like the UI :P The current specs running on the vps: 60GB of SSD space 4GBs of RAM 2 CPU's Now, for me to be able to host different gamemodes etc. I need to modify the port the server runs on right? How do I do this? What is the recommended ports to run gmod servers on?
27015 I think is the dedicated port for GMOD servers.
The default ports are in the 27000 range, default is usually 27015 or 27025 IIRC but it really does not matter. Yes you will need to open another port and change the start up parameters of your second server to use the new opened port. Add that to this to your start up command line and set port number to the new port
-port <port number>

27015 I think is the dedicated port for GMOD servers.
I know that, but is there like a recommended range of port(s)? Because I am going to be running multiple servers off of one machine, I do need to modify the running ports to get the servers to show up on the server list. No just find out what port your current server is running of then open a new port greater than the current so it if it's running on 27015 then the new on will be on 27016
